Vintage Cast Iron Jonquil Daffodils Flowers Floral Doorstop Numbered 453
Up for bid and for your consideration is a vintage cast iron floral doorstop, featuring jonquils or daffodils.
These flowers are very eye catching and would be at home in front of any door! To you cast iron collectors it would be a wonderful addition to your collection!
The details:
The doorstop measures just about 6-3/4 inches tall, 5-3/4 inches wide and about 1-7/8 inches deep at the base.
The base is marked 453 in embossed numbers. The numbers are very hard to see, in fact I didn't know they were there until I looked at another listing of the same doorstop and they mentioned the numbers and showed where to look!
As you can see, it has a multi color paint job, I believe it to be the original paint. It is chipped and discolored overall, but still, has a nice look to it! The back has been painted white.
There are no breaks or damage to the cast iron. But there are rust spots and roughness overall.
