for the
Portuguese
speaking international market, namely Portugal, Cape Verde, Brazil and several nations of Africa. Aside from
'Duckworth'
the typography and language used on the broadside is almost entirely in the
Portuguese
language. The ephemera was most likely produced before WWII and intended to let restaurants, bars, lounges and institutions in the

soda extracts, which would've been concentrated and used to mix with carbonated water to make soft drinks on demand. The color lithography on the broadside is fabulous, with clear graphic iconography, bright, vivid color and little or no damage to its surface. There's no water damage, stains, creases, dents, dings, noticeable abrasions or corner folds. It was subsequently placed in the later frame it's in now and under glass. Striking and a full-frontal visual, graphic assault. Beautiful.
