  • Condition: Very Good-Excellent overall vint cond: With 2 rivets perforating the paper board along the top margin for hanging & display w/a cord or wire. The laminated pressed paper or mill board pc of color litho'd advertising was produced by the Manchester, UK soda extract firm Duckworth for the Portuguese speaking market, namely Portugal, Cape Verde, Brazil & several nations of Africa. Aside from 'Duckworth,' the typography & language used on the broadside is almost entirely in the Portuguese language. The ephemera was most likely produced before WWII & intended to let restaurants, bars, lounges & institutions in the Portuguese speaking world, know of the British firm Duckworth's ginger ale soda extracts, which would've been concentrated & used to mix w/carbonated water to make soft drinks on demand. The color lithography on the broadside is fabulous, w/clear graphic iconography, bright, vivid color & little or no damage to its surface. It was later framed & is under glass. Absolutely gorgeous.

There's no water damage, stains, creases, dents, dings, noticeable abrasions or corner folds. It was subsequently placed in the later frame it's in now and under glass. Striking and a full-frontal visual, graphic assault. Beautiful.
