dry but dusty.
1.. The Silmarillion First Edition 1977 - Dust cover is torn and and bad condition  pages are nice with map intact on back page
2.. Unfinished Tales First Edition 1980 - dust cover is dirty and some staining (water) in bottom corner to about page 70 with map intact on back page
3.. The Tolkien Companion J.E. A. Tyler - Bell 1979 Edition - dust cover tears on corners inside cover stain otherwise pages are nice
4.. A Tolkien Bestiary by David Day 1979- Dust cover bad inside cover stained otherwsie pages look clean and crisp
5..The Father Christmas Letters Paperback (large)1976 - cover and pages bent bottom inside cover, age stains on inside cover, pages are nice
6.. A Hobbits Travels Sam Gamgee 1978 - little marks on back cover otherwise very nice
