It shows bleeding of the blue or green colored stamp on the back to the front and the red stamped serial number from the front to the back. The stamped signatures are light and difficult to read especially the one on the right. Be that as it may this is a very nice banknote to add to your collection. Description:
A crisp uncirculated Banknote from the State of Oaxaca in Mexico and is the note dated 15 March 1916. It is a five pesos currency note that appears to be very crudely printed. The note is black on off white background. The front shows the Mexican Arms, depicting a spread eagle with a snake in its beak standing on a cactus, to the left of the front. The back shows the image of Miguel Hidalgo left of center. The note is series O and has two stamped signatures in violet and a stamped red colored serial, which can also be seen on the back. The back has a green or light blue stamp which bled to the front. This particular note has the serial number 62482 on the front twice in red and does not display the serial number on the back. Again, the note is series "O" and has two signatures displayed on the front but has no water mark that we could find.
