This is a really cool older note from 1780. The note has been redeemed so there is a punch hole in the text that blocks some of the reading. However most of it is still clear and legible. Nevermind the odd S's in the text that look like f's. That is actually just an old font and not an error. The note is signed by the redeemer of the time by the name of Peter Boyer. These could be redeemed in the Massachusetts Bay area for 4 Spanish milled dollars. The note briefly details the interest the note would carry.
Something else of interest when we acquired this note it came with a Massachussetts State Lotto ticket from ten years later in 1790. Interestingly enough the serial number is only one digit off from that of this 4 dollar note. Please check out that listing if you are interested.
