ABOUT THE MEDALS GOLD COIN AND ARTWORK
The name Clemence means clemency or mercy, and Isaure means Isis of gold, or Golden Isis. Several sources describe Clemence Isaure as an actual person, who lived in the Territory of Oc in the late 1400s and early 1500s, whose beauty and talent were rare and inspiring. Others say she was a fictional character created to perpetuate the feminine traditions of earlier times. According to legend, following the death of her troubadour love, who praised her through his beautiful songs and whom she adored, Clemence Isaure took a vow of chastity and silence. Before doing so, however, she established an endowment for the city of Toulouse to re-establish the poetry contests of the Gai Savoir, a poetry society established in 1323.
Clémence Isaure is a quasi-legendary medieval figure credited with founding or restoring the
    Acadèmia dels Jòcs Florals
or Academy of the Floral Games. She is supposed to have left a legacy to fund awards in the form of gold and silver flowers that the city would award annually to the best poets.
As the mythic founder of the games she is celebrated principally in Toulouse, where poems, sculptures, and paintings have been dedicated to her and a variety of places and institutions bear her name

    HOWDY & WELCOME
    TO
    COWBOY COINS BY JEFF
    SIERRA NEVADA STUDIO, USA
These rare and collectible numismatic coins within this very unique artwork are from my personal collection of many years. They are 100 percent authentic, unaltered and may be
    carefully
removed, inspected, reversed and replaced--whatever you wish. Also, they are more than suitable for complete resale. My artwork is meant to enhance these medals and for you to enjoy your invesrtment while you own them.
Where and when applicable, many modern coins in my works of art will be accompanied by all their original government packaging (OGP)--all in pristine condition as issued. Folks, this was one of my must-dos when I began creating Cowboy Coins in 2014.
As a carpenter, artist, and numismatic coin enthusiast, coins are art. They are also history, and--yes, historically--good investments. This Old Boy respects them as such.
I go to great lengths to enjoy and share coins in this venue. They are about as useless as chicken poop on the pump handle to me, sitting in safes or vaults somewhere. Again, I like to enjoy my investments. I hope you do as well.
*** WE HOPE YOUR VISIT HAS BEEN AN ENJOYABLE ONE ***
